| Apple Salad
4-6 red apples cut in 1/4 inch cubes.
red seedless grapes
1 container sugar free cool whip (tastes the same as regular)
2-3 king size snickers bars cut into 1/4 squares. (minis cut in quarters work too as do the bitable candies)
Mix all ingredients together and serve.
* Ihave also made this with milky way and butterfinger and 3 muskateer in place of the snickers. I find the snickers is best if u don't have a peanut allergy as the peanut is just enough to balance out all the sweet.

| Chocolate Cookies with Chips 2 Cups AP Flour ¾ cup Cocoa 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp Salt 1 ¼ cups Butter, softened 2 Cups sugar 2 Eggs 2 tsp Vanilla 1 ½ to 2 cups Chips 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Stir together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add Flour mixture, Beating well. Fold in chips. 3. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 9 minutes.(Do not overcook;cookies will be soft. They puff while baking and flatten while cooling.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack, cool completely. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
We have made these with white, peanut butter, cherry, and mint chips.(not all at the same time) and they all were fantastic.

| Super Easy Taco Rice
These instructions are for 4-8 people. the first number is for 4, 2nd number is for 8.
1-2 lbs ground turkey (no draining necessary. can use ground beef, but drain after browning) 1-2 pkg Taco seasoning 16-32 oz Favorite salsa 2-4 cups Minute Rice 8-16 oz Velveeta cheese
Brown the turkey in at least a 6 quart dutch oven or small stock pot. If using beef, after browned thru, drain. Add the taco seasoning and cook for about 1 min. Dump in the salsa and bring to a boil. If you use really chunky salsa, you may want to add some water, or about half of one of your favorite beers (really hoppy ales like IPA's taste great in this). Once at a full boil, add the minute rice, cover, and remove from heat. Let stand for about 5 min. Add the velveeta. ( I usually cut it into cubes and place it on top of the rice mixture, re-cover, and allow it to stand for about 10 to 15 min) The Velveeta should be nice and melty, so gently stir to mix it in. It doesn't have to be thoroughly mixed in.
This is Super Yummy... Best way EVER to eat ground turkey!
